 19.08.05 Straight Outta Compton! Taken from hire car - the infamous (hip hop/tarantino movies) suburbs of Compton and Inglewood are quite close to the airport. This photo is from around the area (maybe) and features the American flag just to remind people where we are. |

 21.08.05 View from room at Luxor This is the view from the room I'm staying at the luxor on the 18th floor. The Luxor was built in the early nineties and is based on the egyptian pyramids. Due to it's shape, the elevator to go to the rooms travels on a diagonal which is an interesting experience! |

 24.08.05 The Bellagio Every hour they have a spectacular water display to music. This hour it was to "viva las vegas" by Elvis. It's quite an interesting sight to see so much water in a place currently experiencing drought (or so the hotel cards say). |
